Party in the Castle 2024
Once a year, the castle comes alive. You go back in time to the Castle of the Counts of the Middle Ages. Knights set up camp and, together with noble ladies, soothsayers, jesters... they provide a whole day brimming with activity in the castle. So brace yourself for a real medieval party for young and old and, of course, lots of songs and dancing!
Programme
- Knight's camp with medieval crafts and shield school (archery, poetry...)
- Medieval dining at a grand banquet, with appropriate costume attire and etiquette
- Burgundian dancing with live music
- Exciting (knightly) stories
- Puppet theatre King Red Moustache
- Bar with beer according to medieval recipe
Tickets & tarifs
During Feest in 't Kasteel the normal admission prices of the Castle of the Counts apply. You get the medieval atmosphere and activities for free!
We recommend booking tickets online in advance to ensure your seat. As long as capacity allows, you can also buy tickets at the entry.
People from Ghent can visit the Castle of the Counts for free on Sundays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., but it is also best to book online in advance.
