Last admission at 4.40 pm.

Closed on 24th, 25th, 31st December and 1st January.

Online reservation

We advise you to book your tickets in advance for guaranteed entry.
Tickets can also be bought at the ticket office, as long as tickets are available.
The amount and price of tickets are the same online as at the ticket office.

Do you have an UiTPAS, ICOM card, HHG annual card, BONGO, Riebedebie card of voucher? You can also book a ticket online. Please show your card at the entrance when your tickets are checked.

Online reservation is not mandatory when you have a Citycard. You may present your card at the e-ticket gate. 

CityCard Ghent

The all-in Citycard Ghent allows to enter almost all must see spots in Ghent. A maximum dose of must-see attractions for a small price. The Citycard Ghent also offers you free use of the public transport. More information on the Visit Gent website.

  • Pets are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all parts of the Castle of the Counts.
  • Eating or drinking inside is prohibited.
