Unique objects
In order to portray the Carolingian period and Judith's world, a unique collection of museum objects is brought together for a one-off occasion.
Both diverse in their type and their origins, they give the visitor an insight into life at the Carolingian court in the 9th-10th century. From a sword from Sweden, to jewelry and liturgical sandals from Switzerland, to a folding chair from Italy. These silent witnesses enter into a dialogue with the story of Judith in the exhibition.
