Accessability

St Peter's Abbey is located on Sint-Pietersplein square in Ghent and is easily accessible on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. If you come by car as the Sint-Pietersplein underground car park is only a few steps away.

By foot or bike

St Peter's Abbey is easily accessible from the center of Ghent. You can walk here from the town hall in fifteen minutes. By bike it only takes five minutes. There is a bicycle parking on St Peter's Square and next to the entrance to St Peter's Abbey.

With public transport

Bus 5 (a/b) passes by at the Sint-Pietersplein stop. These bus connections take you easily anywhere in Ghent. The Heuvelpoort stop also serves many bus lines. More information can be found here.

Underground parking Sint-Pietersplein

The underground parking of St Peter's Square is open 24 hours a day and is located just in front of St Peter's Abbey. The car park has 700 parking spaces. You can check live whether there is still room in one of the parking garages managed by the city of Ghent via this website.

St Peter's Abbey is close to the Ghent ring road and the E17 and E40 highways.
